Founder of a Public Listed Company

As one of Malaysia’s trailblazing women entrepreneurs, she graced the cover of Dare Magazine and inspired a generation of beauty professionals.

On 11th March 2004, Melissa made history by listing her company on Bursa Securities Malaysia, becoming the first skincare brand on the Malaysian Stock Exchange.

Under her leadership, the company expanded regionally, distributing over six major brands across ASEAN, including Dermalogica, Clinelle and Bioxil. Melissa personally developed four of these brands while overseeing the rebranding of Leonard Drake into Astersprings. Her business grew to over 50 outlets and thousands of dealerships.

Melissa founded the Esthetics & Wellness International (EWI) Academy to nurture talent, training countless beauty therapists. Her passion for skincare also drove her into R&D, where she focused on creating innovative products tailored to her customers’ needs.
